It's hard to think of anything that could be worse than the bombastic Henry Rollins rendition of "'Twas the Night Before Christmas" that begins this album, but there's plenty of competition here. The Cranes' cover of John Lennon's "Merry Christmas (War Is Over)" is cloying instead of emotional, and the Presidents of the United States of America's "Christmas Piglet" is especially inane. Even worse, Sponge and Wool are so derivative I can't even tell them apart.
