Well the new record IS still advancing. But slowly. In fact a lot slower than any of us thought. Unfortunately. There are several new songs that are being worked on at the moment. I have four or five on MD in an unfinised state. |

So is it likely that it won't be out for this year at all? (it might make the lyric book wrong!) |

A release date for this year still looks likely, but hey, I thought it would be out long before now. So did the rest of us. |

The tracks I have so far are pretty mellow, but that doesn't mean to say that the entire thing will remain that way. |

I would say that there are Pop 4 flavours but transitional might be a better term to use. |

*grins* Ok then - so what about the record contract status to date? I imagined that Cranes were undecided about whether to go alone or to try and find a deal - what's the situation now? |

Going alone whilst trying to find a deal, is the only way I can describe 'the plan.' Ok, I have to be gone in about 3 minutes. Ask whatever you like. |

Plans for CD only at present , sorry. No plans to tour. Will have to see how things go. |

I am the guy with the long hair. Jim is writing music. All the time. Ali is spending a lot of time in London pursuing Cranes opportunities as well as some personal stuff |

Cranes fans can do most by remaining exactly that, ie Fans of the Cranes. We know that it has been awhile since there has been any activity but we are trying our best to remedy this. All the people that follow Cranes have been wonderful and we really do appreciate the loyalty and continued interest. Hey, I'll try and schedule ANOTHER meeting in here soon and I hope you all come by and ask whatever you feel like asking. We love you. Take care now. |
