It was over a year ago that I since I saw Cranes for the last time. So I was looking forward to this concert. I never been in De Melkweg before. The hall was almost filled. Not so crowded as I espected, because their last performance in The Netherlands was in 1999. Cranes played a lot of old songs. They opened with "Cloudless" from the album Forever. The voice of Alison did not change over the years. Her voice is the same as usual very beautiful and clear. Songs like "Lilies", "Adrift", "Adoration" and "Far Away" are very popular. The public responded more enthusiastic to the older songs.

I don't have any complains. Everything went perfect. What a great show! The last two songs on the playlist below where in their encore. Then the came on stage once again and played two more songs (not on the playlist): "Adoration" (The public responded enthusiastic to this one) and "Paris & Rome".

After the gig Alison stood behind the merchandise stand. So I went there for a little talk with her and I made some pics when she was signing things (see the live pics). I asked her if she could play "Tomorrow's Tears" tomorrow at the Tilburg gig, because I think it's the best song. She said it was a long time since they had played that one and that she will try it out tomorrow at the soundcheck. I hope they will play it.
