Submarine Sunrise Driving in the Sun Tangled Up Jewel Encore September back to top Review(s) Cranes, acoustic set at the FNAC Montparnasse, Paris, Saturday 10 November 2001 One hundred and fifty to two hundred people had come to see Cranes live in an almost surprise set organized by FNAC. Of course, there were many Cure fans in the audience, young or less young, but also some random onlookers. The set was entirely acoustic ; only Alison and his brother Jim had made the trip. It was a bit short (35 minutes) but the six songs they played (Submarine, Sunrise, Driving in the sun, Tangled up, Jewel and September as a call) were all wonderful, Alison naturally talking — despite having lost a bit of her voice — with an attentive audience, fulfilled by the music and the signing that followed.
