... all of the Cranes did an encore with the Cure, for the last
song. It was Forever, and the floorboards of the Point reverberated with 2
basses and 5 guitars..
It was an awesome sound... a sound that I don't think has been replicated again,
well maybe save an old Swans or Coil gig, but certainly not by either the Cure
or the Cranes!
I noticed on the site that Matt mentions this track, being the inspiration for
the album and mentions that fantastic moment.. as I don't think (but I could
be wrong) that the two bands joined up on stage with each other much on
that tour.
I am fortunate to have witnessed the occasion, but unfortunately my cassette
bootleg runs out just after the start..
