1. General Help
The following commands are available in the chat room.
- <b> and </b> to surround bold text.
- <i> and </i> to surround italic text.
- <u> and </u> to surround underlined text.
- <r> and </r> to surround red text.
- <bl> and </bl> to surround blue text.
- <g> and </g> to surround green text.
- <o> and </o> to surround orange text.
- <p> and </p> to surround purple text.
- <gr> and </gr> to surround gray text.
*You must include the closing tag (</>) in order for the command to work.
Some symbols are used to indicate users logging in and out.
- A
indicates a user has logged in.
- A
indicates a user has logged out.
Hint:
- Type an empty message to refresh chat window immediately.

3. Browser/Computer Recommendations
The following are our recommendations in order to get the most out of our chat:
Browser: Internet Explorer 5.5, Click here to upgrade.
Resolution: 800x600
4. What if the chat window won't refresh by itself?
Your chat window will not refresh by itself because you are not using Internet Explorer 5.5. Click here to upgrade.
If you prefer not to upgrade you will have to refresh the chat window manually. To do this, type an empty message and press "Send" or press the "Enter" key on your keyboard.
5. What should I do if one or all of my windows give me an error?
Unfortunately the server we are using is not all that we wish we had. Sometimes it times out. If you receive a page error in one or all of the windows, simply refresh the page by clicking "Refresh" at the top of the window.

6. Why did I get logged out of the chat?
The chat room is set to log you out if you remain inactive for 5 minutes. If you were logged out, simply log back in with the same username.
7. What should I do if I was logged out but I can't log back in with my original username because it shows that I'm still chatting?
Simply wait a few minutes and you should be able to log back in with your original username.
8. How do you go to the other chat rooms?
Simply click on the name of the chat room. When you are in that room it will appear in bold.
9. Can I use private messages on this chat?
Unfortunately we do not yet support private messaging. However, we are working on implementing that feature in the near future.
